The Last Week of Social Media

Image
The Last Week of Social Media      This week is the last week of my Social Media class. Throughout this semester, our group was tasked with posting and creating content for Ohio Northern Sports. It was a serious matter because not only was our professor grading some of our projects, but Ohio Northern Sports also had a say in what our grade should be, which is really scary because you might've thought you did a good job, but they didn't think so then you are sort of screwed.      Our final  presentation is today, and I am incredibly nervous for several reasons. One reason is that we must review everything we did throughout our presentation over the past few months. We have everything requested, but you never know if you are leaving some things off. Another reason why I am so nervous is because I have a tendency to stutter when I'm presenting. I tend to repeat the exact same phrase. I really try not to, but it sometimes just happens. Hopefully, I c...

Best Thanksgiving Food

Image
Best Thanksgiving Food     Ham is better than Turkey on Thanksgiving day. A honey ham is tastier and not usually as dry as a Turkey. I feel like a turkey is the  traditional food for Thanksgiving, but I believe that Ham is the go-to from now on. But some sides are undefeated and are really slept on.     The first side I want to cover is stuffing. This side is a crucial aspect of Thanksgiving dinner. The homemade stuffing always beats the store-bought. I also really enjoy smacking down some double eggs. You can go right with some double eggs on your plate.      I also like on Thanksgiving is some cheesy potatoes. This side is probably the best of all. Potatoes are good on their own, but when you add cheese on top of them and bake them, lord have mercy. I have heard that people are starting to mess around with corn on the cob for Thanksgiving, and I can't get behind that.      Corn on the cob is a summer cookout food for me. I o...

Thanksgiving Burnout

Image
Thanksgiving Burnout     Man, I can't wait for Thanksgiving break. It can't come any slower. I am mentally fatigued from homework, test, and classwork. I have talked to my friends about the burnout college pushes you through, and it really is a grind. I feel bad for all freshmen experiencing burnout for the first time. I always have something to look forward to. Thanksgiving break is a perfect example of something to look forward to.      Thanksgiving falls perfectly for many reasons. One reason is that when Thanksgiving comes around, it usually, or at least for me, is when all classes stop teaching new content and focus more on reviewing past things.      With that being said, another reason for Thanksgiving falling in the perfect spot is that usually, after the break, we get back, and it's typically three weeks of just locking in and grinding the grades. This is nice because football for me is over, and it's all school, no other distractio...

Spooky Snow?

Image
Spooky Snow?     Surprisingly, it snowed on Wednesday evening when I was not expecting that . I was just chillin' in my room when I glanced outside, and to my surprise, I saw little snowflakes. And I couldn't have been more surprised. I unfortunately didn't snap a picture of the snow falling because I was just in awe, and it didn't cross my mind. I will use a picture sent to me from football practice instead. After all, how rare it was for the Halloween evening, and it snowing was just surprising to me.      I claimed in earlier blogs how happy I am for the winter weather, and I look forward to the snow and ice. I am excited to watch the snowfall and enjoy it. There is no better thing than watching the snow fall and movies under a blanket. I'm probably the only one that thinks this.      Going back to Wednesday night, I can say for many students that the snow on the trees and grass makes the campus extremely pretty. There is nothing bet...
