Best Time of the Year
Best Time of the Year
Now is the best time of the year for sports fans nationwide. All four of the main American sports are currently on television. Let me break it down for you all.
Let's start off with the number-one sport in America: football. The National Football League (NFL) is currently in mid-season and is on TV Monday, Thursday, and Sunday. This is a nice spread of games, so you can count on an NFL game in two to three days from each other.
Moving on to the next American sport, Major League Baseball. This league is in the postseason and is on almost every day, depending on the games, but they are almost always on TV. MLB has fallen off recently, but playoffs are one of the most watched tournaments in America.
The next, and my favorite, is the National Hockey League or the NHL. This league is just starting and recently had their first game on Tuesday. Hockey is always on TV if you have ESPN+, but if you don't, it's on one to two times a week.
The final main sport is basketball. The NBA, or National Basketball Association, is in preseason as of right now but will start the season here in a few weeks. I used to like the NBA but recently have stopped watching it as it has become boring, but it's still sports, so I watch.
These four sports are on during the week and on weekends, and it makes it nice that we can tune in to a couple different sports and watch.
Do you all watch sports? If so, what sport is your favorite to watch? I look forward to seeing you all in the next one.
Chase, I do watch sports. I mainly watch college football and the NFL. I also watch some baseball from time to time. I agree with you on the NBA. I used to watch basketball a lot, but I don't find it as entertaining anymore. I also enjoy hockey once in a while.
